  • Do A8 has pressure sensitivity or support wireless charging?

    There is no pressure sensitivity and wireless charging is not supported.

  • Can Pencil A8 pull down control center?

    NO. A8 can not pull the control center down, notification bar down or swipe up between apps. Neither do other active pencils including the original iPencil can.

  • My iPad is compatible with A8, why it doesn't seem to work?

    Before first use of A8, please charge it for 10 minutes and make sure the settings are right: 1. iOS system is updated to iOS 12.2 or above. 2. Disconnect Apple Pencil. Go to Settings > Bluetooth > Find “Apple Pencil” to Forget This Device.

  • How to stop my fingers to draw?

    You could turn on "Only Draw with Apple Pencil" to ignore hand input. Go to Settings > Apple Pencil > Turn on "Only Draw with Apple Pencil" (iOS 14+ available)

  • What models is A8 compatible with?

    Metapen A8 for iPad is especially suitable for iPad 2018 models or later. Does not work for older versions of iPad, nor with any version of iPhone, Android, and Microsoft devices.
